Two years ago, I started Making Jewelry Fun as a part time business. It didn’t take me long to see that this business could be the path to success for other women as well. To be honest, I haven’t been a big fan of some of the Multi-Level businesses that I’ve encountered. However, upon further research, I’ve come to see that this could be a great business model if done correctly. Please let me explain. Normally to start your own business, you would need a huge capital investment. As I investigated ways to market and expand my business, I started to see that with a very small investment (by any standard) people could become business owners, and with unlimited potential. A few years ago, I toured a huge model home owned by a local distributor for a popular cosmetic company. Her home was decorated entirely in pink. I was frankly amazed that someone on the local level could achieve this kind of success. At the same time, I remembered how many roadside signs I had seen on neighborhood streets saying: “Close out sale” or “50% off...I need to sell my stock" of such & such product. I knew that I didn’t want Making Jewelry Fun to become a financial burden to those who would be the main contributors to our success. I determined if this was the business model that we would institute; It would have to be marketed in such a way that participants could harvest the success of being a business owner without the financial burden required by so many other companies. If we were to offer our concept to others, it would have to be a win/win proposition for everyone involved. It has been nearly 2 years in the making but we have developed a wonderful program. We’ve taken pains to assure that the people who will contribute the most to our success will be generously compensated. Our program doesn’t require the consultant to carry inventory, getting started is very affordable, and our commission structure is generous with attainable bonuses. Treating our people right is a core value, not just a corporate slogan. We are proud to announce that we are now signing up consultants! YAY! And having a great time doing it. It’s been a grand learning experience and will continue to be as we grow and learn from each other. We expect and appreciate the feedback we receive from our customers and consultants alike. We realize this is the only way we will grow as a company and as a community. Our outlook is fantastic as we look forward to the future and the growth of our business “family”. If you would like to be a part of our exciting new opportunity, check our website for more information or simply click on the 'contact us' prompt for more information or to let us know what you think. As I said, we welcome suggestions, feedback and your opinion. Thank you for your interest in Making Jewelry Fun. Maybe we’ll have the pleasure of meeting you at one of our workshops or recruiting events! XOXO |
