About Making Jewelry
Fun -
Our company
was founded with
the goal of sharing the craft of jewelry making as a means of social and
creative fulfillment.
My first experiences involved sharing my passion for
jewelry making at in-home parties. I truly felt a great deal of personal
fulfillment, sharing my customer's delight when they tried on their first self
made bracelet.
This really is a lot of fun. If you haven't had a
jewelry making party with your friends, I highly recommend it! (and, may I
suggest that our kits are especially suited to this.)
At the request of
customers who wanted to buy something additional to take and make, this
simple venture soon blossomed into a catalog of jewelry making kits, and
soon into an online store. We've been selling jewelry making kits
since 2003.
Our goal is not
only to offer a quality jewelry making kit but a quality experience as
well. We accomplish this by:
►Buying from trusted sources.
►Quality
control - before the bead goes in the kit, it is handled and
inspected several times - are the drill holes centered, is there a
defect, is the color good, will the stones on each earring match?
►Multiple
checks of our kit assemblies.
►'Road
testing' our designs - we actually wear them to make sure they work
and wear well.
Before we are
finished, we expect to offer a variety of jewelry making kits featuring
a range of techniques for you to enjoy and learn.
We enjoy
challenging ourselves with the creative process. It keeps us young
at heart and mind, and in the end, we have something beautiful to wear
and share.

Top 10 ways to have fun with our kits ...
(As reported by our customers)
I've used them for class projects. It makes
teaching the techniques super easy.
My Daughter's birthday party.
I used the party kits for holiday gifts. I
personalized each bracelet but I used the kit as a base.
I buy your kits but I don't usually follow your
patterns. I add a lot of my own beads. I like the kits
because it's cheaper than having to buy a full strand of all the
different beads.
I take your kits on vacation.
We used the kits to make jewelry for my
bridesmaids.
My daughter hosted a jewelry making party as a
fund raiser for a school trip.
My kids love your kits so I buy them for my kids
when they are off-track from school.
I sent an order to my daughter for her birthday.
I considered sending her a beading book but I thought this would be
a funner way to learn how to make jewelry.
I bought about 80 kits for our summer camp
project. It made what could have been a big beady mess into a
manageable experience and it actually cost less than our other
ideas. |
